Diploma in Islamic Studies

Course Description

This course aims to connect the most powerful section of the Muslim community to the Deen of Allah and develop their understanding of Islam and its creed. Its main objective is to educate boys and young men aged 16 + about the fundamentals of Islam. 

As part of the curriculum, students will learn detailed rules of Tahaarah (Purification), Salah, Zakah, Hajj, Family life in Islam, Islamic guidelines about Business and Finance and other principles of Halal and Haram etc. They will also learn about the detailed aspects of Islamic beliefs, their proofs from the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah, including reason-based evidence of Islamic creed, in addition to the biography of our beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and history of Muslims.

There will be a particular focus in improving students’ Holy Qur’an recitation with Tajweed rules. 

Students will also learn about basic and day-to-day Arabic language and its grammar.
