An excellent course for beginners. Lessons are only for 3 hours every week, so you can study or work fulltime whilst undertaking this course. I was very limited in knowledge about Islam and had many doubts. After this course, I am more knowledgeable and feel a lot more confident towards Islam. A variety of subjects are taught, such as Fiqh and Aqeedah etc. The teachers are very knowledgeable and friendly, and will try to answer my questions regarding Islam or life in general. Exceedingly recommended.

Learning Tajweed has helped improve my confidence when leading prayers as I know my pronunciation of the Qur’an has improved. Learning about the life of the Prophet (PBUH) has increased my love and respect for him, as I feel I have a deeper knowledge of how he spread the message of Islam. The Hanafi Fiqh has equipped me with the necessary knowledge to navigate my life in accordance to Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaʻah.

Firstly, the introduction of this course allowed us to improve our understanding of the basic tenets of Islam, such as Seerah, Fiqh and Aqidah. Learning Fiqh allowed us to know what to do on certain issues as well as increase our urgency to act upon this. Additionally, Seerah allowed us to see the miracles of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), as well as the military, religious, social and political aspects of his life. Aqidah taught us the basic requirements needed to be a Muslim and addressed the questions we had such as the idea of Allah being anthropomorphised.

This course has benefited me; because, I was taught many different subjects, such as Fiqh, Aqidah, Seerah and Tajweed rules. Going over the Tajweed rules has allowed me to increase my fluency when reciting the Qur’an and has improved my pronunciation. The Fiqh book has allowed me to learn rules about Hanafi Fiqh that I can implement in my daily life. The teaching method is clear, and not such in depth that it becomes confusing.

Lessons teach about old and new information alongside a deep understanding about the subjects, which is very beneficial to answer any misunderstanding or questions I previously had. I can also ask questions in the group chat about a topic and it is answered in detail to avoid misunderstanding, which has been a great benefit.

Wide range of Islamic teachings covered, such as Tajweed, Fiqh, life the Prophet (PBUH) and the Qur’an translation. These were all gone into detail, while also making the lessons fun and interesting. Islamic basics are also covered, so we can all start from the same page. Teachers are also very nice and friendly; so anything you are confused about, you can enquire and ask them to explain.

Attending the Sunday classes allowed me to have better understanding of Islam. It also allowed me to gain a wide range of knowledge about different topics in Islam.
