Answer: الجواب باسم ملهم الصواب It is not permissible to pay Zakah to one’s parents, grandparents or great grandparents, i.e. one’s own forefathers. Likewise, it is not permissible to pay Zakah to one’s own descendants, i.e. children, grandchildren or great grandchildren etc.
