هذه الرسالة الطريفة المسماة بـ«فتح ذي المنن في ثلاثيات الصحيح والسنن» فريدة في بابها، وجديدة في نوعها. فقد جمع المؤلف في هذه الرسالة ثلاثيات «صحيح البخاري»، وثلاثيات «سنن الترمذي» و«سنن ابن ماجه»، مع حديث واحد من «سنن أبي داود» مختلف في كونه ثلاثيّا أو رباعيّا، بالإضافة إلى «الرباعيات التي في حكم الثلاثيات» في صحيح البخاري. وعلّق عليها تعليقات وجيزة مع ذكر تراجم رُواتها. ولم يذكر شيئا من ثلاثيات «صحيح مسلم» و«سنن النسائي»؛ لأنه اتفق علماء الحديث على أنه لا حديثَ ثلاثيًّّا فيهما

This is a specialized hadith work dedicated to collecting and studying thulāthiyyāt—narrations with only three transmitters between the Prophet ﷺ and the compiler—from Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and the Sunan collections.

Authored by the renowned hadith scholar Shaykh al-Ḥadith Maḥmūd Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Silhetī, the book gathers all the thulāthiyyāt found in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Sunan al-Tirmidhī, and Sunan Ibn Mājah, with discussion of the differing scholarly views regarding Sunan Abī Dāwūd.
